On the Asymptotic Behavior of Elliptic, Anisotropic Singular Perturbations Problems
In this paper, we consider anitropic singular perturbations of some elliptic boundary value problems. We study the asymptotic behavior as ε → 0 for the solution. Strong convergence in some Sobolev spaces is proved and the rate of convergence in cylindrical domains is given.
متن کاملAsymptotic Behaviors of the Lorenz Curve for Left Truncated and Dependent Data
The purpose of this paper is to provide some asymptotic results for nonparametric estimator of the Lorenz curve and Lorenz process for the case in which data are assumed to be strong mixing subject to random left truncation. First, we show that nonparametric estimator of the Lorenz curve is uniformly strongly consistent for the associated Lorenz curve. Also, a strong Gaussian approximation for ...
متن کاملAsymptotic behavior of ACMA
The algebraic constant modulus algorithm (ACMA) is a noniterative blind source separation algorithm. It computes jointly beamforming vectors for all constant modulus sources as the solution of a joint diagonalization problem. In this paper we analyze its asymptotic properties and show that (unlike the iterative CMA) it converges to the Wiener solution in samples or SNR. We also sketch its conne...
متن کاملRiemannian Drums, Anisotropic Curve Evolution and Segmentation
The method of curve evolution is a popular method for recovering shape boundaries. However isotropic metrics have always been used to induce the flow of the curve and potential steady states tend to be difficult to determine numerically, especially in noisy or low-contrast situations. Initial curves shrink past the steady state and soon vanish. In this paper, anisotropic metrics are considered ...
